Recently, I took a month completely away from all of my social media channels. And initially just the intention was just to, to not be present on any social media, but actually within the first couple of days, I realized that I didn't want any kind of input whatsoever. A Simple Exercise to Reduce Anxiety

As I step back in to “the world” after my month off social media, I’m more acutely aware of what triggers anxiety for me. My hope is that something here will help you manage your anxiety, overwhelm and emotional burnout.

Is Self Help Creating a BIGGER problem?

Are we in a world where the exponential growth of the industry that claims to help us is the very thing that's leading to our emotional burnout, our disconnection from our happiness and our values?

Self Doubt is NOT the problem. It's a SYMPTOM!

Have you ever held yourself back, backed down or procrastinated because of self doubt?

Self-doubt is the symptom. If self doubt were the problem, you would doubt everything. Do you doubt your ability to go to the bathroom? To cook a piece of toast or tie your shoelaces? I doubt it.

So what is the problem?

Think about some of the areas where you do doubt yourself and your abilities and I bet you can notice the following.

1. Uncertainty in the outcome

2. Anticipated weight of other peoples opinions and judgements

3. Perceived emotional discomfort/pain

Here's an example.  If you were working out at home, you probably wouldn't be that worried about the muffin top or the sweat patches in embarrassing places or how you looked when you were doing that exercise. But if I placed you in a posh gym, I bet all of those things would become a problem for you.

Fundamentally, see self doubt is the symptom of two things

Why You Need To Focus on Decreasing Resistance to Your Dreams

It's easier to decrease resistance than it is to increase alignment.

Law of attraction and manifestation techniques teach us to focus on the things that we want align with in the future vision but that actually increases resistance because it activates our limiting beliefs.

Start With Reducing Resistance

It might sound weird and I get. If you REALLY want something, why would you have resistance around it? Well that’s the power of your subconscious programming.

So, if you know that focusing on the thing, activates and agitates our limiting beliefs increasing the resistance that we have to make that thing a reality, doesn't it make more sense to focus on removing the barriers rather than executing and using that excessive energy attempting to navigate around them?
