Who doesn't LOVE pizza (if you don't, I'm afraid we can't be friends ).
So what if you are on a fat loss plan, can you still eat pizza? YES
OK, so what about if you want to be gluten free and vegan, can you eat pizza? YES
I don't know about you, but the shop bought GF, Vegan pizzas are not only hard to come by, but not awful nice. I had a great experience at Pizza Express (although they were a tad tight on the "cheese").
The simple answer is create your own. I took a recipe from my Joe Wicks #90dayveggieplan and gave it a gluten free and vegan makeover that I'm going to share with you right now!!
35g+ (see notes) gluten free self raising flour
35g gram flour (chickpea flour)
65g of non dairy yoghurt - I used KoKo
1/4 tsp baking powder
Pinch salt (I added a few sneaky chilli flakes too)
1 dsp tomato puree
45g vegan cheese (your choice - I used the grated mozzarella type)
Toppings of your choice - I used antipasti...
Last week I started the Series on "Mind Mastery" by talking about clarity. (If you didn't read it, get it here).
So now you have a whole new meaning around Clarity and I hope that it's given you breathing space and that you've been able to make a decision on how you can simply choose to win each day, knowing that it's ALL creating the bigger picture.
I think it's fair to say that most people have very little awareness or control of their thoughts. Just like a pinball machine, it's a series of random conversations in their heads, each one bouncing off and activating the next, leading to 95% of the SAME thoughts every day and over 80% of those negative. I think this is one of those facts that scare me the most. The same internal conversation every single day and biased toward negative. It's no wonder the world is in the state it's in - it's a direct reflection of mass consciousness. Sorry, I digress.
Not, this lack of awareness means that most...
I love to sleep. I've tried all kinds of different routines in the past. At one point I even bought in to the "getting up at 4am" mentality. It didn't work for me. It meant I had to go to bed super early so I missed out on time with my family. I absolutely had to have a "nana nap" every day or I Just felt awful.
In the end, you know what I did? I decided to find a way that works for ME and wish all the 4am'ers and happy life.
It's been proven over and over, that sleep counts when it comes to the way you feel and function. The suggestion is a 7-9 hours of QUALITY sleep every night. Now I'm not going in to sleep cycles and circadian rhythms here.. I just want to keep it simple. So let me give you a few tips to help you get better sleep so that you have bring the energy you need every day to chase your dreams!
Do you have kids? If you do, I'm sure you had them in a routine. I remember when I had my first, I had NO idea what I was doing....
This is a really simple recipe and one that I've adapted ever so slightly from Joe Wickes' 90 Day Veggie Plan that I'm currently on (and loving it).
Soups are great for so many reasons. They tend to be quick to knock up (especially if you have an Instapot), helps toward your 5 a day and they are really filling so great if you are on a health plan.
2 tsp vegan butter
2 carrot (pref organic) washed and finally chopped
2 stick celery - as above
2 cloves garlic - crushed or finely sliced
2 tsp (or to taste) of finely chopped fresh rosemary. You can substitute dried if you like.. start with 1 tsp and add depending on your taste
1 good tsp of turmeric
4 tsp tomato puree
1 or 2 vegetable stock pot (depending on your taste)
600ml boiling water
1 can tinned beans (I like haricot or butter bean)

I'm not writing this article in an expert capacity but rather to provide some resources that will help you make up your own mind about using a foam roller.
It's basically a tube, made of compressed foam/plastic that is used to help release muscle tightness, soreness and inflammation and may increase flexibility as the muscles regain flexibility. In other words, it helps you perform self massage!
As with everything, if we don't know how to do something, we can risk doing more harm than good. So in this article I just want to share some useful resources to help you make the decision if a. the practice if for you b. if it is, how do you do it property.
If you've ever used a roller (or had a good sports massage), you know that it can be SUPER painful. Why is that? Should it be that way? These articles will explain more for you..
On 1st January, hubby and I decided to embark on Joe Wicks 90 Day Plan. Truthfully, we both signed up the middle of last year but never really implemented consistently. And what happens when you are not consistent? You don't get results. Simple.
Although I didn't eat much over Christmas (and drank substantially less too), I felt pretty groggy by the time the year ended. Having spent 85% of my time gluten free and vegan for the past 4 months - eating cheese, crackers and bread on a daily basis had played havoc with my mood, my appearance and my digestion. TIME TO DO SOMETHING.
Whilst Joe Wicks has some amazing recipes on the programme (as well as online and in his books).. I do LOVE to experiment and that's how I came up with these balls of deliciousness. Super quick, easy, cheap and healthy.. ready to give them a go?
1-2 tsp coconut oil
1 can chickpeas drained
1 red chilli - finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic - finely chopped
