Who doesn't LOVE pizza (if you don't, I'm afraid we can't be friends ).
So what if you are on a fat loss plan, can you still eat pizza? YES
OK, so what about if you want to be gluten free and vegan, can you eat pizza? YES
I don't know about you, but the shop bought GF, Vegan pizzas are not only hard to come by, but not awful nice. I had a great experience at Pizza Express (although they were a tad tight on the "cheese").
The simple answer is create your own. I took a recipe from my Joe Wicks #90dayveggieplan and gave it a gluten free and vegan makeover that I'm going to share with you right now!!
35g+ (see notes) gluten free self raising flour
35g gram flour (chickpea flour)
65g of non dairy yoghurt - I used KoKo
1/4 tsp baking powder
Pinch salt (I added a few sneaky chilli flakes too)
1 dsp tomato puree
45g vegan cheese (your choice - I used the grated mozzarella type)
Toppings of your choice - I used antipasti...
I was controlled by my mind from a very early age. By the time I was 11 or 12 I was aware that I didn't fit it. Soon that judgement became that I was too ugly and fat to fit in.
Over the years, that talk penetrated every area of my life and little did I know, that the reality that I found myself living, was created from that negativity. After suffering with over 5 years of severe post natal depression, I noticed an immediate shift when I had the courage to leave my relationship and choose to be a single mother to my two daughters.

My circumstances were far from great but the fact that I'd made a choice that served by sanity was like being lifted high on top of a wave, where I could see new choices. New beginnings. And hope. I love to sleep. I've tried all kinds of different routines in the past. At one point I even bought in to the "getting up at 4am" mentality. It didn't work for me. It meant I had to go to bed super early so I missed out on time with my family. I absolutely had to have a "nana nap" every day or I Just felt awful.
In the end, you know what I did? I decided to find a way that works for ME and wish all the 4am'ers and happy life.
It's been proven over and over, that sleep counts when it comes to the way you feel and function. The suggestion is a 7-9 hours of QUALITY sleep every night. Now I'm not going in to sleep cycles and circadian rhythms here.. I just want to keep it simple. So let me give you a few tips to help you get better sleep so that you have bring the energy you need every day to chase your dreams!

On 1st January, hubby and I decided to embark on Joe Wicks 90 Day Plan. Truthfully, we both signed up the middle of last year but never really implemented consistently. And what happens when you are not consistent? You don't get results. Simple.
Although I didn't eat much over Christmas (and drank substantially less too), I felt pretty groggy by the time the year ended. Having spent 85% of my time gluten free and vegan for the past 4 months - eating cheese, crackers and bread on a daily basis had played havoc with my mood, my appearance and my digestion. TIME TO DO SOMETHING.
Whilst Joe Wicks has some amazing recipes on the programme (as well as online and in his books).. I do LOVE to experiment and that's how I came up with these balls of deliciousness. Super quick, easy, cheap and healthy.. ready to give them a go?
1-2 tsp coconut oil
1 can chickpeas drained
1 red chilli - finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic - finely chopped
I know it sounds harsh, but I've done enough work on this myself, and coached enough business women, to believe this is 100% true.
