"What if happiness is more than simply the absence of sadness?" asked Martin Seligman in the late nineties. And psychology as we knew it, changed forever.
I'm sure we've all said it. "When X, I'll be happier" and the X could represent everything from a different weight, relationship, bank balance or residential location. And much as we'd like to truly believe this, we cannot deny that this thinking simply perpetuates longer cycles of unhappiness and dissatisfaction.
Science tells us the following:
Happiness doesn't come from genetics luck or chance.
Happiness has a LOT less to do with circumstances than we think it does.
It isn't the result of some big, out of reach event or attainment
Happiness is created by simple, easy things we do, every day
Unhappiness is created by NOT doing those things

There are some incredibly talented and soulful business owners out there who are sacrificing...
This is a really simple recipe and one that I've adapted ever so slightly from Joe Wickes' 90 Day Veggie Plan that I'm currently on (and loving it).
Soups are great for so many reasons. They tend to be quick to knock up (especially if you have an Instapot), helps toward your 5 a day and they are really filling so great if you are on a health plan.
2 tsp vegan butter
2 carrot (pref organic) washed and finally chopped
2 stick celery - as above
2 cloves garlic - crushed or finely sliced
2 tsp (or to taste) of finely chopped fresh rosemary. You can substitute dried if you like.. start with 1 tsp and add depending on your taste
1 good tsp of turmeric
4 tsp tomato puree
1 or 2 vegetable stock pot (depending on your taste)
600ml boiling water
1 can tinned beans (I like haricot or butter bean)

In a heavy based pan (or...
Are you holding back from taking action because you're not clear on where you're going? What you are actually aiming for? I hear you cry...
I get it. I was drowning in that space. So I want to share my story with you here, in the hope that it might help you see a new perspective and take some action toward creating your life of Purpose, Passion and Profit.
#1 - We all share a common purpose
The chances of YOU being born are 1 in 400 trillion. You are an integral, energetic component of the world. You are born, like a seed, with the potential to become something absolutely incredible.
Therefore, our common purpose is to live each day ON and WITH purpose. Yeah, yeah Louise, what does that even mean? Simply, it means that you give a . You think about the kind of person you want to be, with your family, lover, colleagues, strangers. You decide what you can CHOOSE to be excited about or engage, with each day. Consumption (of mind numbing,...
I'm not writing this article in an expert capacity but rather to provide some resources that will help you make up your own mind about using a foam roller.
It's basically a tube, made of compressed foam/plastic that is used to help release muscle tightness, soreness and inflammation and may increase flexibility as the muscles regain flexibility. In other words, it helps you perform self massage!
As with everything, if we don't know how to do something, we can risk doing more harm than good. So in this article I just want to share some useful resources to help you make the decision if a. the practice if for you b. if it is, how do you do it property.
If you've ever used a roller (or had a good sports massage), you know that it can be SUPER painful. Why is that? Should it be that way? These articles will explain more for you..
On 1st January, hubby and I decided to embark on Joe Wicks 90 Day Plan. Truthfully, we both signed up the middle of last year but never really implemented consistently. And what happens when you are not consistent? You don't get results. Simple.
Although I didn't eat much over Christmas (and drank substantially less too), I felt pretty groggy by the time the year ended. Having spent 85% of my time gluten free and vegan for the past 4 months - eating cheese, crackers and bread on a daily basis had played havoc with my mood, my appearance and my digestion. TIME TO DO SOMETHING.
Whilst Joe Wicks has some amazing recipes on the programme (as well as online and in his books).. I do LOVE to experiment and that's how I came up with these balls of deliciousness. Super quick, easy, cheap and healthy.. ready to give them a go?
1-2 tsp coconut oil
1 can chickpeas drained
1 red chilli - finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic - finely chopped
I know it sounds harsh, but I've done enough work on this myself, and coached enough business women, to believe this is 100% true.
Two books really helped transform my mindset around money at that was Napolean Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" and Barbara Stanny's book, "Over Coming Under Earning".
After reading those, I became a Sacred Money Archetype coach and dived in to re-writing my own money story and committing to helping as many women as I could to do the same.
I hear you ask. Well, your soul's purpose is to live a life on and of purpose and to experience it's fullest expansion and expression.
It can't do that if it's constantly being told "I can't afford it".
Besides which, I'm pretty sure that when you set up in business, you didn't have the goal to under earn and over work?
I became a coach in SMA at least 3 years ago and it was such an incredible insight to my own beliefs, fears and motivations...
I used to work out because I hated my body. In fact, I pretty much hated all of me.
Now I work out because I love myself, because I'm grateful that I CAN workout and it also keeps my mental health is good shape!
I trained with a company called Metabolic Effect and they focus on hormones vs calories. One of their frameworks is EMEM, Eat More Exercise MoreNow at the moment, I'm having to do low, non-weighted workouts because I'm recovering from a long term injury (totally my fault for not getting it looked at sooner!).
So over the coming weeks I'll be sharing some of the workouts I recorded when I was a personal trainer... and if you're expecting someone who's ripped... you'll be disappointed. (However, never say never)!!
How to do this workout! (and here's the YouTube Link)
#1 - Pick a set of weights that challenge you and force you to rest. The Metabolic Mantra is "Work till you can't and rest till you can"...
#2 - Form always trumps speed i.e. go slower and do it right
We are a soul having a human experience. I am sure you have heard that before? But how much do you live by the truth?
Regardless of your beliefs around religion and creation, we know that we have been created in the likeness of "something". Whether it is a God or a Creative Energy.. the fact is, that our likeness means that we contain the same magic. We are born as Creators.
Sadly, most of us are programmed throughout our childhood to "follow the crowd". To go to school; get qualified; get a job (maybe one you like if you're lucky); get married and have a family; retire and have a few good years and then "poooof" off we pop from this planet.
People like you, passionate and purpose soulpreneurs, are part of a spiritual and energetic revolution who are here to create a new story for the world.
And so that you can do that with more grace, ease and authenticity, it's essential...
